Anna Science Center and Planetarium initiated since 1999 is located on NH 210 on the way to Pudukottai, next to Tiruchirappalli Airport. At Anna Science Centre – Planetarium the “Environment Gallery”, with the exhibits on the themes Eco systems, Bio-geochemical cycles, Biodiversity and Conservation. It comprises of 11 galleries and museum and 3D science center.

Anna Science Center and Planetarium initiated since 1999 to render educational services, especially to children and the younger generation is located on NH 210 on the way to Pudukottai, next to Tiruchirappalli Airport. The planetarium, exhibits the themes of Ecosystems, biogeochemical cycles. Biodiversity Conservation, pollution and sustainable energy sources. There are a total of 11 galleries with each as exciting and enlightening as the next. For example, the transport gallery traces the development of air, water and land transport right from its very roots, while the Heart Museum has on display the hearts of various species including the whale and elephant to help you understand the evolution of life. In addition to the galleries and museum, there is a separate corner for kids to help them understand and appreciate scientific functions and laws with a great deal of enjoyment and fun- an ideal places to fast-track their budding interest in science. The 3-D Science theater is the place to head if you ever found science boring. The theater, through its 3-D science movies, takes you through space missions, astronomy, the deep seas and wild jungles. The Planetarium is a must visit for children.
