The temple is about 8 km from Guwahati. Kamakhya Temple is nearby. Bhuvaneswari Temple is a famous temple on the top of the Nilachal Hill at Guwahati. It is at 165 ft upside from Kamakhya. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhuvaneswari. Devotees from all over India gather here during Ambubachi and Manasha Puja.
